Concept website for an imaginary sports club in the hills near Varese. The whole site scrolls over a single aerial photo of the club: as you scroll the camera flies from one court to the next and the day goes by, from morning tennis to the football match under the lights, all the way to the restaurant terrace in the evening. At each stop a close-up of the court opens, with moving video and its own sound. The site is rounded off by the club’s history on a timeline and step-by-step booking, with prices calculated at every choice.
The motion
How the site moves.
01
Scrolling to fly
It starts with the whole club seen from above, and you drop down until you can count the players on court.
02
You set the clock
The clock on screen answers to you: forward, and noon at the pool turns to golden light on the golf course; back, and the afternoon rewinds.
03
The lights come on
As darkness falls the lights come on, and attention moves to the match under the towers, then to the terrace laid for dinner.
