The ad budget is what you pay Meta or TikTok to show your ads. The fee is what you pay whoever works out the strategy, prepares the ads and runs the campaign. A quote with a single figure doesn’t tell you how much actually reaches the advertising.

Prices vary widely from one professional to another: to compare two offers, look at what they include, not just the figure.
There’s no single minimum budget. On Meta you decide how much to spend; TikTok, in its instructions, asks for a minimum budget per campaign and per ad group.
What the price should include.
- Strategy: goal, who sees the ads, duration.
- The ads: who creates the videos and copy, and how many.
- Optimisation: a campaign needs monitoring while it runs, not just launching.
- The report: real numbers and a plain-language explanation.
Per month or per campaign?
Many charge a monthly fee. For a business that only advertises at certain times, paying per campaign is simpler: you know what you’re spending and decide each time whether to continue.
