Period living room in Milan in the morning: curved ivory bouclé sofa, walnut coffee table, an olive tree by the French window, travertine fireplace between two bookcases

Interior architecture · Milan

Homes you live in
with the light.

We design bespoke interiors starting from how the sun comes in: room by room, hour by hour.

The studio · Brera, since 2009

Lesena is an interior architecture studio in Milan. Before we choose a single color, we watch where the sun falls, at what time and for how long. Then we choose materials that know how to hold the light: travertine, walnut, linen.

How we work

  1. 01

    Three visits, three lights

We visit your home in the morning, at noon and in the evening, and measure where the sun reaches and for how long.

  2. 02

    Materials in hand

We bring real samples — travertine, walnut, linen — and look at them with you in the light of your own room.

  3. 03

    One site, one team

We manage the artisans and the schedule ourselves, down to the last lamp. We hand back the keys to a finished home.
