Your data, made clear.

Who processes your data

The data controller is Lanterna Service, Genoa, Italy.

For any questions about your data: lanterna.service@gmail.com or 351 262 8328.

What data, and where it comes from

In the site visit request (on its own page or at the bottom of the home page) you tell us: the type of space, its approximate size, how often, your preferred day and time of day, your name, your phone number and, if you wish, your neighbourhood.

The website does not store this data or send it to any server. At the end it prepares a message with your answers, which you send to us yourself on WhatsApp (or by email, if WhatsApp is not available). The data therefore reaches us with that message, through the service you chose, which processes it under its own privacy policy.

Why, and on what legal basis

We use the data only to respond to your request: to call you back, arrange the site visit and prepare your quote. The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the GDPR).

We do not use it for advertising, and we never pass it on or sell it to anyone.

How long we keep it

For as long as needed to handle your request. If it turns into a job, we keep it for as long as required by law, including tax obligations.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, object to its processing or receive it in a readable format, by writing to the contacts above. If you believe your data is not being processed correctly, you can contact the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).

Cookies and browsing

The website uses no cookies and no analytics or tracking tools, and it loads nothing from other websites.

The website is hosted by a hosting provider which, like any server, logs IP addresses and visited pages for technical and security reasons.
